At our events we offer young people the chance to undertake a variety of different roles in order to gain different experiences.

Activity Leader Your role as an Activity Leader will be to; Lead a specific activity, help to motivate participants, record the results an dfollow teh Event Timers instructions. DOWNLOAD
Referee/Umpire Your role as a Referee/Umpire will be to; be in conmtrol of the game/match, follow the set rules of the competition. DOWNLOAD
Scorer/Timekeeper Your role as a Scorer/Timekeeper will be to; ensure overall event and all parts of the event start and finish on time, complete the central score sheet and comile overall results of the event, communicate effectively with other event volunteers. DOWNLOAD
Course Marshall Your role as a Course Marshal will be to; ensure participants follow the correct course, motivate and cheer on participants, ensure safety of participants at all times, support other marshals, alert the Event Manager if any issues occur. DOWNLOAD
Lead/Tail Runner Your role as a Lead/Tail Runner will be to run at a consistent and appropriate speed, being aware of how participants behind or in front of you are progressing, able to motivate participants (Tail Runner). DOWNLOAD
Event Reporter/Photographer Your role as an Event Reporter/Photographer will be to; make notes during the event and conduct relevant interviews, write up all information gathered into an article, take plenty of appropriate photos of the event, pick the best ones for use in report and on social media. Backstage Assistant (Dance Show) Your role as a Backstage Assistant will be to; attend a briefing for your role before the show, be required to bring dancers to the stage ready for their performance, help schools with any questions they may have, help to set up and put away equipment. DOWNLOAD
