Yr 5-6 & Yr 7-8 Panathlon Competition – busy busy busy!

It’s a strike!!!

On Wednesday the 8th November we hosted our Panathlon Ten Pin Bowling event at Namco Funscape in Norwich. The morning session was very busy with 11 teams from our Year 5 and 6 primary students and in the afternoon we had 7 super teams of year 7 and 8 students from our high schools. The bowling alley was filled with cheers and excitement as the schools competed against each other to score as many points collectively . Lots of children were awarded special recognition for scoring over 100 as well as every student receiving a certificate, amazing medal and trophies for the winning teams! 

The competition is targeted at engaging more pupils with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND) in mainstream schools.

  • 1st – St Michaels VA. Junior School
  • 2nd – Hethersett Woodside Primary School
  • 3rd – Bluebell Primary School
  • 4th – Cringleford CE VA Primary School
  • 5th – Lakenham Primary School
  • 6th – Tuckswood Academy
  • 7th – Mulbarton Primary School
  • 8th – West Earlham Junior School
  • 9th – Valley Primary Academy
  • 10th – Charles Darwin Primary School
  • 11th – Free School Norwich

The results for our Secondary Competition are:

  • 1st – Hethersett Academy
  • 2nd –  Hethersett Academy
  • 3rd – Notre Dame High School
  • 4th – City Academy Norwich
  • 5th –  City Academy Norwich
  • 6th – The Clare School
  • 7th –  Notre Dame High School
