On Wednesday 25th May, we held a Yr 5-6 Dynamo Cricket Competition in Eaton Park. Eleven teams from 7 different schools took part.
Pupils demonstrated some excellent cricketing skills whilst representing their schools. The event followed the new Dynamo Cricket format which pitted mixed teams of 8 boys/girls against each other using a countdown cricket format. Every child was given the chance to bat, bowl and field so as to develop their all round cricket skills.
Teams were split into two equal groups of 6 teams who played against each other in a round robin format. Once the group stage matches were completed, the teams that finished in the same position in each group played against each other for overall position (1st-12th).
The overall results were;
1st – Cringleford Primary A
2nd – Eaton Primary
3rd – St Francis of Assisi Primary
4th – Cringleford Primary B
5th – Little Melton Primary B
6th – Charles Darwin Primary B
7th – Little Melton Primary A
8th – Hethersett Woodside Primary A
9th – Hethersett Woodside Primary B
