On Monday 21st March students took part in our Inclusive Festival at the UEA Sportspark.
The festival was targeted specifically at pupils with an SEND in mainstream or special school and was set to challenge the pupils to do their personal best whilst taking part in a carousel of fun inclusive sports activities.
The day was broken up in two with the mornings activities for our Year 3-6 students and the afternoon with children from Year 7-9.
The following schools attended the event:
- The Parkside School
- Bluebell Primary School
- West Earlham Junior School
- Hethersett Woodside Primary and Nursery School
- St Michaels V.A Junior School
- Jane Austen College
- Hethersett Academy
- City Academy Norwich
A massive thank you to our five activity providers for allowing the children to experience the different sports offered. The children all took part in:
- Cricket provided by Norfolk Cricket
- Tennis provided by TennisAble
- Athletics provided by Special Olympics
- Dance provided by No Limits Norfolk
- Boxing and strength training provided by Able2B
