Pupils Compete in Panathlon Competition

On Friday 9th July we held two SSP Panathlon Multi Skills Competitions at the Sportspark. The competitions targeted pupils with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND) and aimed to give more pupils the opportunity to represent their school in competitive school sport.

The competitions were run in partnership with the Panathlon Foundation, a national charity that provide sports opportunities for children with a disability and special need.

In the morning. we held a competition for pupils in years 3-6. Pupils took part in a carousel of sports skill challenges where they scored points for their team. Activities were delivered by sports leaders from Notre Dame High School.

The results were;

1st – Bluebell Primary School

2nd – Parkside School

3rd – The Clare School

In the afternoon it was the turn of year 7-9 pupils from local high schools. They also competed in a separate set of challenges with activities delivered by students from Jane Austen College.

The results were;

1st – Jane Austen College

2nd – City Academy Norwich
