On Friday 5th November hundreds of pupils from schools across Norwich took part in our cross country competition in Earlham Park in Norwich.
Over 300 pupils from the following schools took part;
- Bluebell Primary
- Cringleford Primary
- Bignold Primary
- Charles Darwin Primary
- Hethersett Woodside Primary
- Little Melton Primary
- West Earlham Junior
- Eaton Primary
The event followed our Compete event theme and aimed to “provide opportunities for children that are competitive in nature and enjoy performing and competing against others”.
The competition included races for boys and girls in years 3, 4, 5 & 6. Pupils were challenged to complete a challenging course around the park.

If your child enjoys running and is interested in taking part more outside of school then check out our Clubs page to find information about local athletics clubs and other running opportunities.
Unfortunately there isn’t a schools cross country final this year, but pupils can directly enter the Norfolk Cross Country Championships which is being held on Sunday 9th January at Earlham Park. For more information CLICK HERE.
Thank you to Norwich City Council for allowing us to hold the event in Earlham Park. Also, thanks to the brilliant Public Services students from City College Norwich who marshalled the course and supported us to run the event.
