On Monday 13th March, working alongside Norfolk Cricket board, we held an event for Year 1 and 2 to explore cricket skill based activities. The noise around the sportshall and happy faces were a true testament to the fun the children had. Each well thought out activity explored different skills for the children to develop their cricket skills , knowledge of the game also whilst working with their friends, encouraging great team work.
The schools that took part were:
- Valley Primary School
- Eaton Primary School
- Cringleford CE VA Primary School
- Bluebell Primary School
- Clover Hill Infant School
- The Free School Norwich
- Lakenham Primary School & Nursery.
Massive thank you to Kevin, Sara, Ian and Bret from the Norfolk Cricket Board for running great sessions and to the sports leaders from Northgate High School in Dereham for supporting each activity and providing great encouragement and showcasing how to be a great role model to all the children.
