Event Description

Schools are invited to enter a group of pupils to take part in this year’s show  ‘Dance World Tour’ The show will follow an around the world theme.

Support Available

Our SSP Dance Coordinator, Jenna, can offer schools:

Initial support  or weekly sessions to help choreograph dance routine (if required).

Guidance on costumes and props (schools must provide their own).

Ongoing support throughout the rehearsal process.

As the show approaches, schools will receive full details, including running orders, Evolve requirements, and coach pick-up times.

Music Selection

If schools are choreographing their own dance, schools must confirm their music choices with Jenna(📧 j.woods@canorwich.org) to ensure suitability and to avoid duplication of songs/artists/themes with other schools.

Performances

Pupils will take part in two performances:

4:30 pm

7:00 pm

Schools are required to participate in both performances.

Audience & Tickets

Parents, family, and friends are warmly invited to attend. Tickets will be available in advance through our ticket supplier. Confirmation of this will be sent closer to showtime.

Who Can Take Part

This event is open to pupils from SSP member schools 

Transport

Free transport will be provided for schools if needed (to the venue only).

Please indicate on the booking form:

If transport is required.

The total number of seats needed (pupils + adults).

Transport times will be confirmed after the booking deadline.

Return transport will not be provided — pupils must be collected from the venue after the show.

Photo & Video Consent

The show will be professionally filmed and photographed.

Images and videos may be used to celebrate and promote SSP events across various media, including websites, social media, newsletters, and newspapers.

Schools are responsible for ensuring that parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all participating pupils.

A risk assessment will be emailed to schools before the event.

Schools are reminded of the following safeguarding responsibilities at SSP events.
