This week was the first of our multi skills festivals for the year with our Year 2’s up first. A massive 573 children took part over the two days, embracing each of the 8 activities.
The event is aimed to learn new skills, enhance existing ones, interact with other schools and overall have a fun day. The children move around each of the activities challenging themselves and celebrating their friends to do well.
Andrra from Bignold Primary liked how their was lots of things to do but the Bike slalom was there favourite.The Racket skills, football dribbling and the golf putting were also string favourites amongst many of the children.
A massive thank you to the Year 9 students from Hethersett Academy, Yr 10 students from Notre Dame High and the Level 1 and 2 Sports students from Easton College as our fantastic leaders who ran each activity for the children.
