Batting, bowling, bouncing, agility, fun and enjoyment were all aspects our year 3 – 6 and Year 7 -9 students experienced at our Panathlon Multi Skills Sports event.
Schools were invited to bring 1 team of between 6-8 pupils from Years 3 – 6 and Year 7 – 9 who have a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). Teams took part in a carousel of inclusive multi sports activities where each member will score points for their team. The team with the most points at the end will be the winner.
A few of the activities today were Bean Bag Toss, Polybat, Basketball and Boccia!
The Event Theme for this event was Develop The event was for children who enjoy friendly competition but don’t want to solely focus on winning and losing, instead they focus on supporting a pupils wider development. The Intent of the event was “provide inclusive opportunities (SEND)”
