Event Description

Schools are invited to bring up to 60 pupils from Years 3–6 to take part in this exciting event. If spaces remain available, schools that have already entered may be offered additional places.

The event is a 5km fun run around Eaton Park, where hundreds of pupils will run, jog, or walk the course while being covered in a rainbow of colours.

The event is non-competitive and aims to inspire young people by giving them a fun and positive physical activity experience.

Who Can Take Part

This event is open to pupils from SSP member schools.

Clothing & Footwear

Pupils should wear suitable outdoor PE kit.

An old white t-shirt is recommended, as it will get covered in colour powder.

About the Colour Powder

Made from corn starch dyed with natural vegetable or food-grade colouring.

Participants are advised to wear eye protection (e.g. sunglasses, goggles, snorkel masks).

Parents & Spectators

Spectators are welcome to come and enjoy the event.

Transport

Free transport will be provided for SSP member schools if required.

When booking, please indicate:

Whether you need transport.

The total number of seats required (pupils + adults).

Final transport arrangements will be confirmed after the booking deadline once travel has been organised.

Photo & Video Consent

We would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools

Photos and videos may be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official photographer for use in media (internet, social media, newspapers, newsletters).

It is each school’s responsibility to ensure parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all participants. If no consent is given, pupils will be required to wear a yellow snapband.
