
Event Description
Schools are invited to enter one team of 9 girls and 9 boys. Teams may include pupils from Years 5 and/or 6.
Each pupil may compete in a maximum of two track and two field events each, chosen from the following:
Track Events
Obstacle Relay 4 girls and 4 boys
1 + 1 Lap Relay 2 girls and 2 boys
2 + 2 Lap Relay 2 girls and 2 boys
6 Lap Paarlauf 2 girls and 2 boys
Over/Under Relay 4 girls and 4 boys
4 x 1 Lap Relay 4 girls and 4 boys
Field Events
Chest Push 3 girls 3 boys
Soft Javelin 3 girls 3 boys
Speed Bounce 3 girls and 3 boys
Standing Long Jump 3 girls and 3 boys
Standing Triple Jump 3 girls and 3 boys
Vertical Jump 3 girls and 3 boys
Team sheet and formats will be sent once booked on to help select which pupils will take part in each discipline.
The competition will take place indoors using official Sportshall Athletics equipment. Sportshall Athletics is a nationally recognised programme that brings the excitement of athletics indoors, giving young people the chance to experience a wide range of adapted track and field events in a safe, fun, and team-based environment.

Event Objective
This is a ‘Compete’ themed event, designed to give pupils the opportunity to test their skills and enjoy competition against pupils from other schools.

Who Can Take Part?
The event is open to pupils from the SSP member schools
Clothing & Footwear
The event will be held indoors. Pupils should arrive in suitable indoor PE kit and footwear, and bring a water bottle.
Spectators
Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
⚠️ Please note: The Sportspark charges a 70p entry fee for spectators.
Transport
Free transport will be provided for SSP member schools if required.
When booking, please indicate:
Whether you need transport.
The total number of seats required (pupils + adults).
Final transport arrangements will be confirmed after the booking deadline once travel has been organised.
Photo & Video Consent
We would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools
Photos and videos may be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official photographer for use in media (internet, social media, newspapers, newsletters).
It is each school’s responsibility to ensure parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all participants. If no consent is given, pupils will be required to wear a yellow snapband.
