Event Description

This festival will be delivered in partnership with the National Tennis Association.

Schools are invited to bring a team of up to 30 pupils from Years 2 – 4 to take part in a fun and inclusive tennis festival. Throughout the event, pupils will rotate around a carousel of tennis-based activities, designed to develop key skills and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Each activity will focus on a different fundamental tennis skill, helping pupils to improve their coordination, movement, balance and racket control. Pupils will be encouraged to challenge themselves, achieve their personal best, and enjoy being active alongside children from other schools.

The emphasis is on participation, enjoyment and developing confidence through tennis, ensuring that every child experiences success and has a positive introduction to the sport.

Event Theme

Develop – This event is aimed at pupils who will benefit from focusing on personal progress, enjoyment and wider development, rather than solely on competition and results.
