Event Description
Schools are invited to bring up to 20 pupils from Years 1–2 to take part.
During the festival, pupils will enjoy a carousel of fun cricket skill-based activities, designed to develop the fundamental skills of the game such as batting, bowling, throwing, catching, and teamwork.
This festival is delivered in partnership with the Norfolk Cricket Foundation, the charity that supports the growth and development of cricket across the county. Their aim is to provide inclusive and enjoyable cricket opportunities for all young people, helping to inspire a lifelong love of the game.
Event Objective
The theme for this event is ‘Develop’, aimed at pupils who enjoy friendly competition but who may benefit most from focusing on personal progress, enjoyment, and wider development rather than just winning or losing.
Event Intent
To develop confidence and competence through cricket.
