Event Description

The festival will be delivered in partnership with The National Tennis Association.

Schools are invited to bring up to 30 pupils from Years 2-3. During the festival, groups of pupils will take part in a carousel of tennis skills based activities.

Each activity will focus on developing a specific fundamental skill required in tennis. Pupils will be challenged to do their personal best for each activity.

What is the objective of the event? 

The Event Theme for this event is Engage.  The event which is non competitive and targets pupils who would benefit from being more physically active. 

The Intent of the event is “to develop confidence and competence”

Which schools is the event open to? 

The event is open to pupils from all schools within the NorwichSSP 

What clothing/footwear should pupils wear? 

The event will be held outdoors so please ensure that pupils arrive in suitable outdoor PE kit (inc footwear) and bring a water bottle.  

Can parents spectate? 

Spectators are welcome to attend the event.

Transport

Free transport will be provided for SSP member schools if required.

When booking, please indicate:

Whether you need transport.

The total number of seats required (pupils + adults).

Final transport arrangements will be confirmed after the booking deadline once travel has been organised.

Photo & Video Consent

We would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools

Photos and videos may be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official photographer for use in media (internet, social media, newspapers, newsletters).

It is each school’s responsibility to ensure parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all participants. If no consent is given, pupils will be required to wear a yellow snapband.
