Event Type

Event Description

SSP schools are invited to bring up to 20 pupils from Years 2–4 to take part in our Dance Festival.

The session will be led by a professional dance instructor, supported by high school leaders. Pupils will have the chance to learn choreography, practise together, and showcase their routine to the rest of the group at the end of the festival.

The focus of the event is on personal best, enjoyment, skill development, and building confidence through dance.

Event Objective

This is a ‘Develop’ themed event, giving pupils the opportunity to take part in a fun, off-site dance festival while exploring creativity and movement.

To develop confidence and competence in pupils through new experiences.

Who Can Take Part?

The festival is open to all schools within our SSP.

Clothing & Footwear

The event will take place indoors. Pupils should arrive in suitable indoor PE kit and footwear, and bring a water bottle.

Parents & Spectators

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate spectators at this event.

Transport

Free transport will be provided for SSP member schools if required.

When booking, please indicate:

Whether you need transport.

The total number of seats required (pupils + adults).

Final transport arrangements will be confirmed after the booking deadline once travel has been organised.

Photo & Video Consent

We would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools

Photos and videos may be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official photographer for use in media (internet, social media, newspapers, newsletters).

It is each school’s responsibility to ensure parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all participants. If no consent is given, pupils will be required to wear a yellow snapband.
