
Event Description
Schools are invited to bring up to two squads comprising of 8 boys/girls from Years 5-6. All eight players will play at one time. All matches will be played using the ECB Dynamo Cricket format.
Please note* All teams taking part in the year 5 / 6 mixed competition should contain at least one girl and one boy which will apply to this event and the County Finals.
The event is part of the Norfolk School Games and the highest placed two teams will be invited to represent the SSP at the Norfolk School Games Finals on Wednesday 17th June at Horsford Cricket Club.
What is the objective of the event?
The Event Theme for this event is Compete. The event is designed for pupils who are competitive in nature and who enjoy performing and competing against others.
The Intent of the event is “to promote success and achievement”

Which schools is the event open to?
The event is open to pupils from all school
What clothing/footwear should pupils wear?
The event will be held outdoors so please ensure that pupils arrive in suitable outdoor PE kit (inc footwear) and bring a water bottle and packed lunch.
Parents & Spectators
Spectators are welcome to come and enjoy the event.
Transport
Free transport will be provided for SSP member schools if required.
When booking, please indicate:
Whether you need transport.
The total number of seats required (pupils + adults).
Final transport arrangements will be confirmed after the booking deadline once travel has been organised.
Photo & Video Consent
We would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools
Photos and videos may be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official photographer for use in media (internet, social media, newspapers, newsletters).
It is each school’s responsibility to ensure parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all participants. If no consent is given, pupils will be required to wear a yellow snapband.
