Event Description
Schools are invited to book 8 pupils from Years 5–6 to take part in this exciting water-based festival.
This festival is delivered in partnership with Panathlon, a national charity that provides inclusive sporting opportunities for young people with disabilities and special educational needs. Panathlon creates exciting, fun, and competitive sporting experiences that help pupils build confidence, develop new skills, and feel part of a team.
The event is designed for pupils who are non-swimmers but water confident. The pool will be set to a shallow depth, and trained leaders will be in the pool alongside pupils throughout the session. All students will remain in the water for the duration of the festival.
Pupils will take part in a carousel of fun water-based games and challenges to develop fundamental aquatic skills, including:
Raft Races
Treasure Hunt
Slam Dunk Relay
Ferry Travel
Fly Ball and more!
Event Objective
