Wow, wow, wow….What a day!! ⭐️ On Thursday, we ho Wow, wow, wow….What a day!! ⭐️

On Thursday, we hosted our Year 7-11 Dance Competition. With 132 dancers from 6 high schools, the competition was of a high standard and really did showcase the exceptional talent we have here in Norwich!!

A huge thank you to @ormistonvictoryacademy for hosting the competition and providing all the tech and runners for the day…your fabulous Theatre was the perfect venue 🙌

Another big thank you has to go to the brilliant team from @easttheatrearts, a Musical Theatre college in Norwich, for providing the dancers with a fun yet challenging workshop before judging the competition in the afternoon.

The dancers competed in group and solo categories, with performances either choreographed by teachers, dance captains or created by the dancers themselves. They really did dance so beautifully and did themselves and their schools proud 🥰

The day highlighted the importance of dance and the benefits it brings, including fostering creativity, developing new skills, building self esteem and creating amazing school memories ⭐️

Congratulations to Notre Dame High School, City Academy Norwich, Hethersett Academy, CNS, Norwich School and OVA for providing their students with this opportunity ❤️

Over the last 2 months, Jenna has delivered our Sp Over the last 2 months, Jenna has delivered our Sports Leadership training day at 6 of our partnership schools 🙌 We would like to do a huge shoutout to the amazing students for making both days a massive success!

Throughout the day, the young leaders developed key skills such as confidence building, communication, and decision-making, all through the power of sport. They truly stepped into leadership roles, culminating in fantastic playground and hall sessions that they planned and led for the younger children in their schools.

It was inspiring to see them grow so much in just one day; supporting each other, staying positive, being great motivators and showing just how capable and committed they are. Well done to everyone involved!!

With 6 more schools booked in for the Spring term, it’s so lovely to see lots of our partnership schools giving their children children such wonderful opportunities to build lifelong leadership skills 🥰

Not booked your school on yet? We still have some available days so be sure to get in touch 💪🏻

What an incredible couple of competitions we’ve had at our Panathlon Bowling Competition! @panathlonchallenge is a national charity that gives young people with disabilities and additional needs the opportunity to take part in competitive sport, celebrating ability, effort, and achievement in a truly inclusive environment.

These bowling events are a perfect example of that spirit — welcoming, supportive, and full of excitement 💙 We were absolutely thrilled to see a record number of children scoring over 100, an amazing achievement that deserves huge recognition 👏🎉

The smiles said it all when those fantastic Panathlon medals were awarded – a well-earned reward for determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

A huge well done to the 13 schools who took part across the two competitions, and a special thank you to @namcofunscapeuk in Bowthorpe for hosting and supporting the event so brilliantly. Your help played a big part in making the competitions such a success.

Four high schools from the Norwich and South Norfo Four high schools from the Norwich and South Norfolk School Sports Partnerships brought together a 16-strong team of indoor rowers from Years 7–10 for an action-packed day at Whitlingham Boathouse.

Each school fielded 2 girls and 2 boys, battling it out to test their strength, stamina and teamwork. For some students it was their very first time on a rowing machine, while others arrived with a little experience — all set for a competitive and inspiring day.

Then in festive style the students raced a 3.5km Reindeer Race, inspired by the famous Carrow Cup held right here in Norwich 🎅🦌

And to round off the day… a very competitive teachers’ race — proving the staff weren’t going to be outdone! 💪😄

A huge thank you to Dan from British Rowing for supporting the event with his expertise, hosting the races and using professional race-linking equipment so students could track their position live on screen 🖥️🔥

We had a last minute call on Friday from the Jason We had a last minute call on Friday from the Jason Manford Padel Company, to invite 30 school children to play Padel with Jason at the brand new courts in Norwich, ‘Court De Padel’

With a super PE Lead and Head teachers speedy response over the weekend, we managed to arrange the day in ultra quick time 🙌

Jason has set up a charity ‘JM Padel Company’ to make it his mission for 1 million children to experience Padel….and for that, we are all incredibly grateful!! The children had a fantastic experience - learning the basics and playing fun games with Jason and the coaches.

Padel is a dynamic, doubles-based racquet sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, and played on a smaller, glass enclosed court.

Thank you so much for inviting us and opening their eyes to Padel…maybe we have the next Padel champions in our sights as the sport is being considered for the 2032 Olympics 🥇🥈🥉
🌟 What an incredible day! 🌟 Over 400 Year 3-6 chi 🌟 What an incredible day! 🌟

Over 400 Year 3-6 children from 12 Partnership schools, had some great weather for our incredible Cross Country competition at Earlham Park.

Throughout the day, we saw incredible sportsmanship, teamwork, and encouragement from every single participant…it truly was a real celebration of what sport is all about. The children congratulated each other and really cheered each other on, and as always, the day was full of energy, determination, and smiles all round!!
