Event Description
The festival is delivered as part of our role within the FA Girls’ Schools Football project, which aims to increase opportunities and access to football for girls in schools.
Schools are invited to enter one squad of up to 8 girls from Years 8 and/or 9 to take part in the competition. Teams will compete against other schools in a series of competitive matches, providing pupils with the opportunity to develop their football skills, teamwork and confidence in a positive sporting environment.
The competition will take place outdoors on the all-weather football pitches at GOALS Norwich.
Event Objective
The theme for this event is ‘Compete’, providing pupils with the opportunity to challenge themselves, showcase their skills and enjoy taking part in competitive football alongside other schools.
Event Intent
