SSP Yr 5-6 Netball Development League Begins


This afternoon saw the first round of fixtures in the SSP Yr 5-6 Netball Development League.

The development league aims to give girls the opportunity to represent their school in competitive fixtures, develop their interest in netball and encourage them to join a local community club.
15 teams from 9 different schools have been entered into the league. The teams are from the following schools;

  • Bignold Primary School
  •  Bluebell Primary School
  • Cringleford Primary School
  • Colman Junior School
  • Hethersett Junior School
  • Little Melton Primary School
  • Notre Dame Prep School
  • St Francis of Assisi Primary School
  • West Earlham Junior School

The league has been split into three different divisions to allow teams to play against teams from other schools of a similar ability. High 5 Netball Rules are followed, with the exception the league is only for girls. Matches are played on the outdoor netball courts at City Academy Norwich.
