Pupils Impress at the School Games Yr7-8 & 9-10 Dance Competitions

On Wednesday 15th January, the School Games Yr7-8 & Yr9-10 Dance Competitions were held at City Academy Norwich. The competition is part of the Norfolk School Games programme where the winners of each competition will go on to represent the Norwich SSP at the Norfolk School Games Finals in February.

Pupils were invited to get into groups and make up a dance as well as select costumes and think of a concept without any help from a teacher or dance and they didn’t disappoint!

All of the teams impressed the judges with their imaginative choreography, concept, costumes and their overall commitment to their dances. The competition was judged by Lisa and Emily,

Congratulations to the groups from Notre Dame High School for coming first in both the Yr7-8 Competition and Yr9-10 Competition. These pupils will represent the SSP at the Norfolk School Games Finals on Friday 14th February at UEA Sportspark.
