Sometimes it can be lonely being a PE Coordinator within a school, especially if you are new to the role and/or don’t have much experience of PE, school sport or physical activity.
The SSP is committed to supporting PE coordinators in our member schools to ensure that they are able to offer their pupils the best quality and variety of opportunities possible. We are able to offer our experience as well as sharing good practice from other schools within the partnership.
Development Meetings
We are able to arrange termly development meetings with PE coordinators to help support them in their roles. These meetings can focus on a particular area of need or simply on helping a school get the most of their SSP membership.
PE and School Sport Review
We have a simple self review process which will help schools identify areas of need. We can also help schools to produce an action plan to address those identified areas.
One to One Support
Sometimes PE Coordinators just have a question that they need answering but don’t have anybody within school that can help. We are able to provide ongoing support to help answer any burning question that you might have. If we don’t know the answer ourselves then the chances are we know somebody else who does.
CPD Opportunities
