0

Today saw the first SSP Yr 5-6 Active Kids Bounce Festival at Gravity Trampoline Park attended by over 80 pupils from 6 schools. The purpose of the event was to show children lots of fun ways that they can get active and achieve the recommended 60 active minute per day.

Pupils were invited to bring up to 12 pupils to the festival. The schools that attended the event were;

  • Colman Primary School
  • Cringleford Primary School
  • Eaton Primary School
  • Mulbarton Primary School
  • St Michaels Junior School
  • West Earlham Junior School

The pupils had the opportunity to take part in a carousel of different activities. The activities were led by instructors from Gravity and gave the pupils the opportunity to try familiar sports and skills whilst on a trampoline as well as new games and activities. The activities were

  • Climbing
  • Dodgeball
  • Airbag
  • Bean Bag
  • Basketball
  • Free Bounce

It was fantastic to see so many pupils at this event, who didn’t stop bouncing from start to finish and all left with a smile on their face. Mrs Cracknell from Colman Junior said that it was an “amazing event”. Miss Armstrong from St Michaels Junior added that “All the children had a fantastic time”.

Thank you to the staff at Gravity Trampoline Park for all their help with this event.
