Girls Football Festival – success!!!

The cold damp weather didn’t put off the girls attending our ‘All Girls Football Festival’ on Monday 6th March on the 3G pitches at the UEA Sportspark. 150 Year 3 and 4 girls in the morning and 50 Year 7-8 girls in the afternoon, took part in 8 fun activities. Each activity specialising in skills to help develop their football ability whilst having fun with their friends.

A massive thank you to the 8, year 10 students from City Academy Norwich who were fantastic role models to the the children. The leaders supported our event by leading some of the activities alongside 20 sport students from the City College Norwich, who used their sporting knowledge to help the children whilst encouraging and praising them to be the best they can be.
