This programme aims to increa se access to football for girls.\n\nSchools are invited to enter up to 1 s quad of 8 girls from Years 8 and/or 9 to take part in the competition. Tea ms will play against other schools in competitive matches. The competition will be held outside at on all weather football pitches at GOALS Norwich\ nWhat is the objective of the event? \nThe event theme for this is event is 'Compete' which is for pupils who are competitive in nature and enjoy p erforming and competing against others. \n\nThe Intent of the event is to "develop confidence and competence" \n\nFor more information about our E vent Themes and Intents CLICK HERE \nWhat clothing/footwear should pupils wear? \nThe event will be held outdoors on all weather pitches\, so pupi ls will need to wear suitable clothing to keep them warm/dry. Please ensur e that pupils wear trainers or football boots with moulded studs (no full studs or blades) and shin pads.\n\nGoal keepers must wear gloves. Please b ring bibs if you have any.\n\nPupils are advised to bring lunch and a wate r bottle.\nEvent Objective\nThe theme for this event is ‘Compete’\, de signed for pupils who enjoy performing\, challenging themselves\, and test ing their skills against others.\n\nEvent Intent\nTo develop confidence an d competence through competitive football.\n\nClothing &\; Footwear\nAs matches will be held outdoors on all-weather pitches\, pupils should wear :\nWarm and waterproof outdoor PE kit\nTrainers or football boots with mou lded studs (no full studs or blades)\nShin pads (compulsory)\nGoal keepers must wear gloves\n💧 Pupils should also bring a water bottle.\n\nSpecta tors\nUnfortunately\, parents and carers cannot spectate at this event.\n\ nTransport\nSchools must provide their own transport\n\nPhoto &\; Video Consent\nWe would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools\nPhotos and videos may be taken by City Academy No rwich (NSSP) staff or an official photographer for use in media (internet\ , social media\, newspapers\, newsletters).\nIt is each school’s respons ibility to ensure parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all part icipants.
