Event Description
Schools are invited to bring up to 16 girls from Years 7-9 to take part in the festival.
At the festival, girls will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities that they may have not experienced before within their schools. The activities offered will be provided by coaches/instructors from local community clubs/organisations. It is hoped that by trying the activities that the pupils will be inspired to participate in the activity following the event.
The aims of this event is to give more teenage girls the opportunity to represent their school in school sport event alongside girls from other local schools.
It is suggested that schools select girls to take part in this festival who wouldn’t traditionally participate in school sport.
What is the objective of the event?
The Event Theme for this event is Engage. The event is non competitive and targets pupils who would benefit from being more physically active.
