Event Description

Schools are invited to enter up to two teams of between 6-8 pupils (per team) from Years 7-8 to take part in this competition. The competition is targeted at engaging more pupils with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND) in mainstream schools.

Teams will complete one full game of bowling with pupils challenged to score as many points as possible. The team with the highest average score will be the winners. Prizes will also be awarded to the pupils who score the highest individual scores.

What is the objective of the event? 

The Event Theme for this event is Develop. The event aims to provide more students the chance to represent their school competitively against other schools. 

The Intent of the event is to “provide inclusive opportunities”

Which schools is the event open to? 

The event is open to pupils from all school 

What clothing/footwear should pupils wear?

The event will be held indoors  so pupils should wear suitable indoor PE kit. Pupils wont be required to wear specific bowling shoes but will be required to wear clean indoor trainers. Pupils are advised to bring a water bottle.

Can parents spectate? 

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate spectators at this event. 

Photo and video consent 

We would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools who have taken part via a variety of media including the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters.  

It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official event photographer.
