Panathlon creates exciting\, fun\, and com petitive sporting experiences that help pupils build confidence\, develop new skills\, and feel part of a team.\nThe event is designed for pupils wh o are non-swimmers but water confident. The pool will be set to a shallow depth\, and trained leaders will be in the pool alongside pupils throughou t the session. All students will remain in the water for the duration of t he festival.\nPupils will take part in a carousel of fun water-based games and challenges to develop fundamental aquatic skills\, including:\nRaft R aces\nTreasure Hunt\nSlam Dunk Relay\nFerry Travel\nFly Ball and more!\nEv ent ObjectiveThe theme of this event is ‘Engage’\, offering pupils a f irst opportunity to experience a fun\, off-site sports festival in a safe and supportive environment.\nEvent IntentTo provide inclusive opportunitie s for all pupils to enjoy physical activity.\nFor more information about o ur SSP Event Themes and Intents  CLICK HERE\nWho Can Take Part?The festiv al is open to pupils from all schools.\nClothing &\; EquipmentPupils mu st bring appropriate swimming kit.\nChanging RoomsChanging facilities at t he Sportspark will be shared with the public. It is therefore essential th at schools provide sufficient male and female staff to supervise their pup ils while changing.\nSpectatorsUnfortunately\, parents and carers cannot s pectate at this event.\n\nTransport\nFree transport will be provided for S SP member schools if required.\nWhen booking\, please indicate:\n\nWhether you need transport.\nThe total number of seats required (pupils + adults) .\nFinal transport arrangements will be confirmed after the booking deadli ne once travel has been organised.\n\nPhoto &\; Video Consent\nWe would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and sc hools\nPhotos and videos may be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official photographer for use in media (internet\, social media\, n ewspapers\, newsletters).\nIt is each school’s responsibility to ensure parental/guardian consent has been obtained for all participants.
