Description
At the festival, pupils will take part in a carousel of fun trampoline based activities whilst being challenged to do their personal best. Pupils will have the opportunity to take part in;
- Basketball Shooting Competition
- Battle Bean Competition
- Beanbag Throw Competition
- Dodgeball Matches
- Climbing Wall Activity
- Head and Catch Game
- Over and Under Ball Game
- Hot Potato Game
- Air Bag
Who is the Event Open to?
The event is open to SSP member schools / All schools. Schools are invited to bring a group of up to 12 pupils from Years 5-6 who are less physically active and wouldn’t normally engage in other traditional school sport events.
Event Theme
This is a Engage themed event which is non competitive and targets pupils who would benefit from being more physically active, particularly those whose physically active levels have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.
Intent
The Intent of the event is “to improve health”.
Clothing & Footwear
The event will be held indoors so pupils will need to wear suitable clothing. Pupils will be given a free pair of non slip socks to wear during the event which they can keep afterwards.
Spectators
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate spectators at this event.
Transport
We are pleased to be able to offer SSP member schools with free transport to this event if needed. In the below booking form please indicate whether you require transport and the total number of seats required (pupils+adults). A transport summary will be circulated prior to the event confirming pick up/drop of times.
Photo & Video Consent
We aim to use photos and videos to promote our events using a variety of media including on the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.

A risk assessment for the event will be emailed to schools approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

Entry Deadline
The deadline for entering is Wednesday 23rd February (3 weeks prior to the event).
