Event Description

SSP member schools are invited to book for their Year 1 pupils to take part in this festival. At the festival pupils will take part in a carousel of activities which will challenge them in a variety of fundamental skills.

The festival will focus on pupils doing their personal best, having fun, whilst working with pupils from other schools. We hope that the festival will help inspire pupils to develop the habit of choosing to take part in PE/school sport opportunities when they arise in the future.

What is the objective of the event?

The Event is an ‘Engage’ themed event which aims to give young pupils a first opportunity to take part in a fun, off site sports festival.

The Intent of the event is  “championing physical literacy”
