Event Description
SSP schools are invited to book 20 pupils for their Year 2-4 to take part in our NEW Dance Festival.
The session will be led by a dance professional with support from high school leaders. The pupils will learn choreography, practise and showcase their dance to the rest of the group at the end of the session.
The festival will focus on pupils doing their personal best, having fun, learning new skills and developing confidence.
What is the objective of the event?
The Event is an ‘DEVELOP’ themed event which aims to give young pupils a first opportunity to take part in a fun, off site dance festival.
The Intent of the event is “develop confidence and competence”

Which schools is the event open to?
The event is open to all schools within our SSP.
What clothing/footwear should pupils wear?
The event will be held indoors so please ensure that pupils arrive in suitable indoor PE kit (inc footwear) and bring a water bottle.
Can parents spectate?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate spectators at this event.
Will transport be provided?
We are pleased to be able to offer SSP member schools free transport to this event if needed. When booking, please indicate on the booking form whether you require transport and the total number of seats required (pupils + adults). Transport times will be confirmed once the booking deadline has passed, and transport has been booked.
Photo and video consent
We would like to use photos and videos of the event to celebrate the pupils and schools who have taken part via a variety of media including the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters.
It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by City Academy Norwich (NSSP) staff or an official event photographer.
