This fun new event is part of the Norfolk School Games and aims to encourage more pupils to benefit from representing their school in competitive school sport.
Description
Schools are invited to enter up to 16 pupils from years 7-11 to take part in the event. Pupils will take part in a 3 hour angling match where the aim is to catch the greatest weight of fish within the time limit. Qualified coaches from Barford lakes will be on hand to support pupils and offer advice.
Pupils should bring along their own equipment if they have it. Equipment can be borrowed if pupils don’t have their own.
Clothing/Footwear
The event will be held outdoors so pupils should wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions on the day.
Spectators
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate spectators at this event.
Photo and video consent
We aim to use photos and videos to promote our events using a variety of media including on the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.
