Aim

The aim of this event is to give young pupils a first opportunity to take part in a fun, off site sports festival. The festival will focus on pupils doing their personal best, having fun, whilst working with pupils from other schools. We hope that the festival will help inspire pupils to develop the habit of choosing to take part in PE/school sport opportunities when they arise in the future.

Description

SSP member schools are invited to book for their Year 2 pupils to take part in this festival. At the festival pupils will take part in a carousel of activities which will challenge them in a variety of fundamental skills. Please could we ask that pupils are split into groups of approximately 10 prior to arrival. Each group will then be paired with a group from another school so pupils work alongside children that they don’t know.

Clothing/Footwear

Please ensure that pupils arrive in suitable indoor PE kit and bring a water bottle.
