Description

SSP member schools are invited to book for their Year 2 pupils to take part in this festival. At the festival pupils will take part in a carousel of activities which will challenge them in a variety of fundamental skills. Pupils will be split into groups and each group will then be paired with a group from another school so pupils work alongside children that they don’t know.

Who is the event open to?

The event is open to SSP member schools.

Event Theme & Intent

This is an ‘Engage’ themed event which aims to give young pupils a first opportunity to take part in a fun, off site sports festival. The festival will focus on pupils doing their personal best, having fun, whilst working with pupils from other schools. We hope that the festival will help inspire pupils to develop the habit of choosing to take part in PE/school sport opportunities when they arise in the future.

The Intent of the event is “To engage new audiences”
