2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Eaton Park
South Park Avenue

This event aims to give more pupils the opportunity to represent their school in a fun mini tennis event. We hope that by taking part in this event schools will feel more confident to deliver mini tennis within lessons/clubs and that this will help more pupils take part in our Yr 3-4 Mini Tennis Competition in the future.

The event will be delivered in partnership with tennis coaching organisation the National Tennis Association.

Schools are invited to enter up to 30 pupils from Years 2 and/or 3 to either the morning or afternoon session. The festival will give pupils the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun mini tennis activities which will challenge them to complete a variety of skills required by the sport.

All activities will be delivered by sports students from local high schools and colleges and qualified tennis coaches.

The festival will be held on the outside tennis courts at Eaton Park so please ensure your team are appropriately dressed for the weather on the day.

Parents are invited to come along and spectate during the event.

We are pleased to be able to offer SSP member schools with free transport to this event if needed. In the below booking form please indicate whether you require transport and the total number of seats required (pupils+adults). All transport will be provided by Norse Transport unless otherwise stated. Pick up/drop off times will be confirmed once the booking deadline has past.

Photo and video consent

It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.
