This is the first meeting of the SSP School Swimming Forum. The aim of the Forum is to support schools to develop school swimming lessons so more pupils can achieve the Key Stage 2 objectives for swimming.
Suitable For
PE Coordinators, Swimming Instructors plus any body involved in the coordination and delivery of school swimming lessons.
Format
The Forum will be held virtually using Zoom and will not last longer than 60 minutes.
Agenda
The agenda for the Forum will be.
- Planning school swimming lessons for 2020/21
- Good examples of monitoring pupils progress
- Using the PE and School Sport Funding to enable more pupils to achieve curriculum requirements
- CPD opportunities for school staff
- Future support for schools from SSP
