Norfolk School Games Finals – Yr 7-9 Alternative Sports Festival

This event is part of the Norfolk School Games programme and aims to give more children the opportunity to represent their school in competitive school sport.


Schools are invited to enter up to 8 pupils from Years 7-11 to take part in a variety of alternative sports which have been selected to engage pupils who wouldn’t normally engage with school sport.

Activities will include:

  • Box fit
  • Ninja assault course
  • Fencing
  • Climbing or cycle studio


The event will be held indoors so pupils should wear suitable clothing and footwear.


As the event is being held in a public venue spectators are able to watch the event. Please note – the Sportspark charge a 60p entry fee for spectators.

Photo and video consent

We aim to use photos and videos to promote our events using a variety of media including on the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.

Risk Assessment

A risk assessment for the event will be emailed to schools approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.
