Aim
This event is part of the Norfolk School Games and aims to encourage more pupils to benefit from representing their school in competitive school sport.
Description
Schools are invited to enter up to 2 squads of 8 girls from Years 3 and/or 4 to take part in the competition. Matches will be played between squads with 5 players being on the pitch at any one time (5 a side).
The competition will be held outside at on all weather football pitches at the Sportspark. Please ensure that pupils wear trainers or football boots with moulded studs (no full studs or blades).
The two highest finishing squads will be invited to represent the SSP at the Norfolk School Games Finals.
Clothing/Footwear
All matches will be held outdoors so players should be encouraged to bring suitable clothing to keep them warm/dry in between matches.
Matches will be played on 3G artificial pitches so players should wear football trainers or boots with moulded studs. Football boots with metal studs or blades are not allowed on this surface.
Spectators
Parents are invited to come along and spectate during league matches. Please note that there is a 60p entrance fee for the spectators at the Sportspark.
Transport
We are pleased to be able to offer SSP member schools with free transport to this event if needed. In the below booking form please indicate whether you require transport and the total number of seats required (pupils+adults). All transport will be provided by Norse Transport unless otherwise stated. Pick up/drop off times will be confirmed once the booking deadline has past.
Photo and video consent
We aim to use photos and videos to promote our events using a variety of media including on the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.

Risk Assessment
A risk assessment for the event will be emailed to schools approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

Entry deadline
The deadline for entering is Tuesday 12th November (3 weeks prior to the event).
