Aim
This event is part of the Norfolk School Games and aims to encourage more pupils to benefit from representing their school in competitive school sport.
Description
Schools are invited to enter up to 3 teams of 10 pupils (5 boys and 5 girls) from Years 1-2 and/or up to 3 teams of 10 pupils (5 boys and 5 girls) from Years 3-4.
Pupils will have the opportunity to take part in a range of fun Tri Golf activities which will aim to develop the core skills of golf.
Pupils will have each activity explained to them by student leaders and will have the chance to practice each activity. They will then be given a set period of time (scoring zone) when they will be challenged to undertake the activity to the best of their ability and score points for their team.
The team from each age category with the highest score from the two sessions (10-12noon & 2-4pm) will be invited to represent the SSP at the Norfolk School Games Yr 1-2 & 3-4 Tri Golf Finals in June.
