This fun new event is part of the Norfolk School Games and aims to encourage more pupils to benefit from representing their school in competitive school sport.
Description
The event is a 5km fun run around the UEA Colney playing fields where hundreds of pupils will run, jog or walk around a course whilst getting covered from head to toe in a rainbow of colours at a number of color zones and foam zone around the course.
Schools are invited to bring up to 16 pupils from Years 7-11 to take part in this event. If there are any spaces left prior to the event then the schools who have entered will be offered additional spaces.
Clothing/Footwear
All participants will be given a special edition white School Games t-shirt to wear during the event. The event will be held outdoors so pupils should wear suitable clothing and footwear to keep themselves warm before, during and after the event. Also, pupils should bring a towel and a change of clothes to put on after the event.
Spectators
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate spectators at this event.
Photo and video consent
We aim to use photos and videos to promote our events using a variety of media including on the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.
