Description
This is the third (of three) match days in the SSP Yr 5-6 Netball Development League. All matches will be played on the outdoor courts at the City Academy Norwich.
All matches will follow the England Netball Bee Netball format.
The aim of the league is to give more young people the opportunity to represent their school in competitive netball matches against pupils from other schools within the SSP.
Who is the Event Open to?
The event is open to SSP member schools. Schools are invited to enter up to two squads of 8 girls (teams of 5) from Year 5-6 to take part in the development league.
Schools can enter up to two teams into one of three divisions dependent on their ability/experience. Division 1 will be for older pupils or those of a higher ability, whilst Division 2 and 3 will be aimed to younger pupils or those of a lower ability. The SSP staff will have the final say on which division teams will be in to ensure their are equal numbers in each division.
Event Theme
This is a Develop themed event which is for pupils who enjoy friendly competition but don’t want to solely focus on winning and losing, instead focusing on supporting a pupils wider development.
Intent
The Intent of the event is “to develop physical skills”
Clothing & Footwear
The event will be held outdoors so pupils will need to wear suitable footwear and clothing.
Spectators
Parents are invited to come along and spectate during the event.
Transport
We are pleased to be able to offer SSP member schools with free transport to this event if needed. In the below booking form please indicate whether you require transport and the total number of seats required (pupils+adults). A transport summary will be circulated prior to the event confirming pick up/drop of times.
Photo & Video Consent
We aim to use photos and videos to promote our events using a variety of media including on the internet, social media, newspapers and newsletters. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.

How to Enter
To enter to bring pupils to the event please click on the first march day of the league on Tuesday 3rd May on the Events Calendar and complete the booking form.
Entry Deadline
The deadline for entering is Tuesday 12th April (2 weeks prior to the first match day).
