On the 5th June, we had our tennis skills festival. It was a brilliant event that brought together young tennis players from the SSP partnership to develop their skills and learn from experienced coaches from the National Tennis Associations. Batting, bowling, bouncing, agility, fun and enjoyment were all aspects our year 3 – 6 and Year 7 -9 students experienced at our Panathlon Multi Skills Sports event.Schools were invited to bring 1 team of between 6-8 pupils from Years 3 – 6 and Year 7 – 9 who have a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). The Girls’ Dynamo Cricket Competition was filled with laughter, cheers, and strategic team planning, making the event a resounding success! On Monday 10th June 2024 our Netball Development League was concluded with the final matches being played at City Academy Norwich. The league had been held over the summer term, held during April and June. Ten squads had taken part with each squad consisting of up to 8 girls from Yr 5-6, with 5 on court at any time. THANK YOU!!!! We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that helped make our SSP ‘SuperStars’ Dance Show such a huge success. Almost 300 pupils from 10 schools took part in our third and final dance show of 2024. Our SuperStars theme dance show included children from Year 1 through to Year 11. The costumes, music, make up and glitter all added to make this production a high end professional show. The sun was shining and lots of children could be heard across Eaton Park as they embarked on a day of cricket matches against teams in the partnership to see who would be the runners up and champions to head to the finals at Horsford Manor Cricket Club.
