The SSP is part of the FA Girls’ Football in Schools Partnership – supported by Barclays. We recently sent schools within the partnership information about the FA Shooting Stars programme. Has your school accessed the free training and resources yet?
The programme is made up of two initiatives: Active Play Through Storytelling and Girls’ Football Clubs, both have been developed to support the engagement of girls aged 5-11 years-old in sport. The programme develops physical literacy, speaking and listening skills through creative play and storytelling, as well as truly capturing the girls’ imagination, using super-human powers, high-tech gadgets and Superheroes through the magic of Disney and Marvel stories.
