Pupils get active at SSP Inclusive Sports Festival

This afternoon we held our second SSP Inclusive Sports Festival of the year at the Sportspark. The festival aimed to give more pupils with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND) the opportunity to represent their school in a fun sports event and enjoy all of the same benefits that other children receive.

Pupils from the following schools took part in the festival;

  • The Clare School
  • Bluebell Primary School
  • West Earlham Junior School

At the festival pupils had the opportunity to take part in taster sessions in the following sports;

  • Boccia
  • New Age Curling
  • Karate
  • Sportshall Athletics

All activities were delivered by community sports coaches from local sports clubs. The festival was also supported by sports leaders from City Academy Norwich.
