On a sunny but cold autumn’s day, the School Games Yr5-6 Tag Rugby Competition was held at Crusaders Rugby Club in Little Melton. This event forms part of the Norfolk School Games programme which offers the opportunity for pupils to represent their school in competitive sport.

The competition saw 17 different teams from 10 different schools take part in some fantastic tag rugby games. The schools that entered the competition were;

  • Lakenham Primary School
  • Little Melton Primary School
  • Notre Dame Prep School
  • St Francis of Assisi Primary School
  • St Michaels Junior School

After all games were completed, the top two teams from each group were placed into a cup competition and the bottom two teams into the plate competition. In these groups, all teams competed against each other again in another round robin competition.
