13 teams compete in the final SSP Yr 5-6 Basketball Development League match day

Yesterday afternoon saw the conclusion of the SSP Yr 5-6 Basketball Development League. Over three match days, 13 teams from 7 different schools have participated in the league. The purpose of the development league is to provide the opportunity for pupils to develop their skills and represent their school against others of a similar ability.

Teams were split into three divisions and each played each other in a round robin format. Across each of the match days, it was great to see the progression and development of all those involved and following some competitive games, the results were decided.

Congratulations to St Francis of Assisi Primary School for winning division one and two and to West Earlham Junior School for winning division three.

The full league tables and results can be found on the Basketball Development League Page.

Well done to all the pupils that were involved in the league across each of the match days. If you know someone who has enjoyed participating in the league, why not encourage them to join a local community basketball club. Information can be found on the Clubs Page
