Top Up  Swimming Another Success at CAN

125 children from six partnership schools took part in a highly successful intensive course for pupils struggling with their swimming.

The course was held at City Acadeny Norwich and funded by Norwich School Sport Partnership. Coaches Anne Cathersides and Kylie Leggett spent 10 days encouraging nervous swimmers to succeed with all participants achieving a distance without fear or swimming aids and 117 swimmers gaining their target of 25m.The course is intensive for both students and coaches but with this sort of result and the smiles instead of tears when they find the can swim, it is well worth the hard work that goes into the two weeks. Highlights of the course where when Lewis, Adam, Kyle, Chloe, Eden, and Fae, overcame their fear and started to swim unaided.
