On Monday, we had over 300 Year 2’s come to Easton & Otley College Tennis Centre to take part in this years first Multi Skills Festival over two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Multi Skills Festivals will focus on pupils doing their personal best, having fun, whilst working with pupils from other schools. At the festival pupils will take part in a carousel of activities which will challenge them in a variety of fundamental skills.

The event was delivered with the help from students from Easton & Otley College who helped by delivering small activities such as; throwing techniques, catching techniques and some agility games.

The schools that attended this festival were;

AM Festival
– Cringleford Primary School
– Free School Norwich
– Hethersett Woodside Infant School

PM Festival
– Bluebell Primary School
– The Clare School
– West Earlham Infant School

The festival ended with numerous children receiving Sportsmanship Awards to highlight their good attitudes, their perseverance and other good sportsmanlike attributes shown throughout the day.

If you would like to see photos from the festival, you can find them in our Photo Gallery.

The next Year 2 Multi Skills Festival is November 23rd.
